Running for better public schools

I fell in love with running in 2012. It was also the year when one of my dreams came true: to help put up libraries for public schools in my hometown. This year presents a chance to combine these two passions and I'm asking everyone to help me run the most meaningful 21K race of my life.

Help our volunteers' organization - KaEskwela, Inc. - build better schools by pledging P10 for every kilometer I'm going to run this Sunday (February 3) at the Condura Skyway Marathon. Please take time to read about our cause and projects at www.kaeskwela.org

Here are the steps in making a pledge:

1. Send me an e-mail at adadizonangeles@gmail.com and state that you are willing to make a pledge of P10 for every kilometer I will run. You may also pledge a higher amount, of course.

2. Wait for my e-mail on the result of the race.

3. Deposit your pledged amount through the account below.

Bank: Banco De Oro (BDO)
Branch: Strata 100 Branch
Account Name: KaEskwela Inc.
Current Acct No. 286 800 9606
Bank Routing Code or Swift Code: BNORPHMM

If there's no BDO branch near you, and you would like to deposit through my personal accounts instead (BPI, Chinabank, and UCPB), please state that in your e-mail to me. If you're around Makati, we can make arrangements to just meet.

4. After depositing, please fax the deposit slip to (63-2) 9105597, Attn: Atty. Katrina Bote-Veguillas or email a scanned copy of the deposit slip to kaeskwelavolunteers@yahoo.com and adadizonangeles@gmail.com

5. Don't forget to specify in your e-mail if you would like your name to be included in the list of people who helped, which we will publish on our website and online accounts, or if you would like to remain anonymous. You may also e-mail a request for an official receipt.

Please share this post in any way you can. Thank you!

The story of how I became a KaEskwela member is here.
